Mijn verhaal
Ik ben Gauri Tewari en ik ben 13 jaar oud. In mijn vrije tijd houd ik van dansen, muziek luisteren, instrumenten bespelen (vooral gitaar en piano) en lezen.
Sinds drie jaar volg ik met veel plezier kathak lessen bij mijn Guru smt. Indu Panday. Ik vind de ritmische afwisseling en de expressie geweldig om te mogen leren.
Vandaag is voor mij een bijzonder moment, want ik mag voor het eerst op het podium optreden. Ik heb met veel plezier geoefend en kijk ernaar uit om mijn liefde voor kathak met jullie te delen. Ik hoop dat jullie net zo veel plezier beleven aan deze voorstelling als ik!
My story
My name is Gauri Tewari, and I am 13 years old. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, listening to music, playing musical instruments, especially the guitar and piano, and reading.
For the past three years, I have been happily learning Kathak under the guidance of my Guru, Smt. Indu Panday. I love learning the beautiful rhythmic variations and expressive storytelling that are such an important part of this dance form.
Today is a very special moment for me, as I will be performing on stage for the very first time. I have practiced with great enthusiasm and dedication, and I am excited to share my love for Kathak with all of you.
I hope you enjoy this performance as much as I enjoy dancing it.
