Ganesh Ramnath is Noord-Indias klassiek musicus, tablaspeler en zanger. Hij studeerde tabla en zang aan Codarts Rotterdam (BA, summa cum laude) en speelt sindsdien in binnen- en buitenland, onder meer in het Concertgebouw, MIM Brussel en bij BarokOpera Amsterdam. Hij begeleidt dans en concerten live en geeft les in tabla. Muziek is voor hem traditie die blijft leven in samenspel, ritme en de samenwerking met dansers op het podium.
My story
Ganesh Ramnath is a North Indian classical musician, tabla player, and vocalist. He studied tabla and vocal music at Codarts Rotterdam (BA, summa cum laude) and has since performed both in the Netherlands and internationally, including at the Concertgebouw, MIM Brussels, and with BarokOpera Amsterdam. He provides live accompaniment for dance performances and concerts and also teaches tabla. For him, music is a tradition that continues to live through collaboration, rhythm, and the connection between musicians and dancers on stage.
