Mijn verhaal
Hoi! Ik ben Avantika, 12 jaar, en sinds 2022 dans ik samen met mijn moeder kathak. In september begin ik op het Stanislascollege Westplantsoen in Delft. Naast kathak doe ik ook aan taekwondo.
Bij kathak vind ik vooral de didi’s die lesgeven heel leuk. Iedere les leer ik weer iets nieuws en word ik steeds beter. Vooral de precieze handgebaren en verschillende gezichtsuitdrukkingen vind ik interessant.
Ook is het altijd heel gezellig in de groep met mijn nicht en vriendinnetjes. Het allerleukste vind ik dat ik samen met mijn moeder, mijn nicht en mijn mami kan dansen!
My story
Hi! My name is Avantika, I am 12 years old, and I have been learning Kathak together with my mother since 2022. In September, I will be starting at Stanislascollege Westplantsoen in Delft. Besides Kathak, I also practice Taekwondo.
What I enjoy most about Kathak are the wonderful didis who teach us. In every class, I learn something new and continue to improve. I find the precise hand gestures and the different facial expressions especially fascinating to learn and perform.
It is also always a lot of fun being part of the group with my cousin and my friends. What I enjoy most of all is that I get to dance together with my mother, my cousin, and my mami!
